The PD-602i is a more durable digital radio with an IP rating of IP-67 and approved to the rigorous Military Specification Standard MIL-STD 810 testing. That means this is a tough radio! The IP rating system is used to describe how resistant an electronic device is to freshwater, dust, and dirt. Don’t confuse the terms Water Resistant and Waterproof.
